We highlight a few hotels which we would recommend on the basis of location and different budget levels. Please note that hotel accommodation prices in Rennes can rise very quickly, so the indicative prices shown here, are as listed at the time of writing:
Adagio Apartments (Rue D’Antrain): These are studio apartments with kitchen facilities. The apartments are located about a 10 minute walk from the University and the City Centre, and provide a good budget option – approximately €100-120 per night. If you are a member of the Accor group the rates will be lower. For breakfast to be included prices are approx. €120-140.
Mercure hotel (Rue Paul Louis Courier): This is approximately 4 km from the University, and is in the centre of Rennes. Rooms cost approximately €160-€180 per night excluding breakfast (again, lower prices if you are a member of the Accor group)
Saint-Antoine Hotel (Best Western) (Avenue Janvier): Another hotel located near the train station, with spa facilities. Prices approx. €160-180 per night, excluding breakfast, or €180-200 for breakfast included.
There is also a new hotel (due to open in March) located in the city centre: Mama Shelter. Room only €160-180, and €180-200 with breakfast.
